2D/3D Mechanical Design
With a no-nonsense approach, we are able to tackle just about any
mechanical design task. In the past we have helped out customers with
everything from machinery upgrades and retrofits, conceptual design, to full
detailed design. We can work with your manufacturer as added design support
as well.
3D Prototyping
Utilizing our 3D design capabilities, we are able to provide 3D printed models
based on your designs. This allows better visualization of design concepts as
well as seeing potential problems in a design before going to production.
3D Sheetmetal Design
By using Solid Edge we are able to create elaborate 3D sheet metal
designs. This allows us to add specific sheet metal geometry and
develop flat patterns of the components for a complete fabrication
package.
Piping and Plant Design
We are able to go from a PID and a basic concept to develop full 3D designs
of piping assemblies, plants, and skids. We have developed a process that
allows us to quickly and accurately develop and update 3D piping assemblies.
Pipe Stress
Using Bentley AutoPipe we are able to properly
engineer piping systems and their structural supports
by accounting for process temperatures, seismic
conditions, wind conditions, as well as process
pressures.
PID & Electrical Schematics
Whether it's helping with updating current schematics or creating new ones,
Davis Design will work with you to develop accurate and current drawings for
your project
Finite Element Analysis
Based on our experience and knowledge we are able to provide FEA for the
3D designs we create. We work closely with engineers to determine static,
wind, as well as seismic loading to help drive a design that will function in real
world conditions.
